kevin m.
"Kevin, sorry can't say anything ... the non-diclosure Beta document is very specific ; -)" OK, if you DO have the M8 in your possesion - and its produces noiseless high iso files with tremendous dynamic range - then don't respond to this posting. That way, I'll know to place my order. :-)
roger_hicks1
Yeah, and I'll only eat fillet steak for the whole trip... Is this not a somewhat idle fantasy? If you don't have to do it, why fantasize about it? Cheers, Roger

james mitchell dc
Will the 4 gig cards work with the Leica M8? They don't on my RD-1s, not the card I have, anyway. I was told that there might be a way to format the card manually to get it to work.

EricM
Marc, I'm fibbing through my teeth! Sorry, thought it was clear, I'm not using an M8 either. i said "no thanks, sold all my glass" when they approached me in Feb about using it (more lies). I've been suckered twice by nikon with first run dslr's. Couldn't pay me enough to go near that M8 with all the M7 and DMR issues. I'll wait til the beta testers are finished in a year or two this time.
