trw
I'm trying to tell someone how the way she's sized her images on her website changes them, but the forum software says my post is "offensive". I haven't sworn or otherwise trolled. What am I doing wrong, or what has changed on the site?

trw
Wedding and social events,

This thread

This was my message:

You have resized all of your images to the same dimensions, including the verticals; this distorts them. Try creating a field larger than the outside dimensions of your images, then display the images in the middle without setting the size explicitly. mikestryinagain
I get the same problem on the same thread. I even tried a test message and got the same offensive filtering.
bobatkins
Regular expression filters can be very tricky if you're not a RegExp expert! One of the filters was faulty. I think I've fixed it and I think it now blocks what Mary was trying to block. Your post should now go through without a problem.
peter_evans4
My favorite nannyware nuttiness is on the Leica forum. As you may know, "Leica" lenses appear on "Panasonic" cameras. "Panasonic" is of course merely a brand name belonging to a Japanese company whose real name means something like "under the pine(s)" but, uh, which I had better euphemize as Matsushinolaa. think27
Sorry about that Trent.. As Bob said - he fixed it. I didn't know what I was doing ;-)
bobatkins
Peter - again the result of a regular expression not giving what the author intended. Regexps are tricky little devils and it may not be at all obvious to the inexperienced regex writer what havoc they may cause. I'm no expert either, but I'll take a look at the Leica set when I get a a moment!
bobatkins
Peter - you can now use the name of your favorite Japanese company in the Leica forum! ABuse of the name will probably result in the original filter being put back though...
