bacsa
hhaha, a thread about banning nudity becomes a thread about bush versus the world. this place is getting better and better:D Hey, why don't we mix environmental issues, oil prices and hamburgers in this thread, so we have it all at the same place! kevinconroyfarrell
Andre, The United States armed forces are always doing their job. They got al-Zarqawi, did they not? But I nonetheless get the sense the Bush administration used the terror alerts leading up to the elections as free campaign advertising, playing on the fears of the American people. Warnings can have multiple functions. Warnings on photographs can be a form of condemnation. Warnings about impending attacks can be a way of scaring people out of changing administrations. nolefan32
Regarding a warning, I don't know how often a photo with explicit nudity comes up as "Photo of the Week" (unlike the photo of the week for this week that merely has suggested nudity), but if that is the case, I for one would appreciate it if it didn't come up in all it's glory as soon as I clicked on the site. It's not that I'm some sort of prude that doesn't appreciate the beauty of the human form, it's just that I do often like to come on Photo.net, including at work, where my system is monitored electronically by Big Brother; if they catch us looking at (what they define to be) pornography, we can potentially lose our jobs. I don't want to NOT visit from work -- I run the newspaper and photo shop on a military base, so this site is great for me and my photographers to get ideas and inspiration -- and I probably could BS my way out of losing my job considering this site is linked to what I do (and it's not like I'm going on bodacious_tatas.com, after all), but I really would prefer to not have the headache. If, when a photo from the nude gallery is the photo of the week, it could require a second click to view, that would be nice. Similarly with the "Top Photos" gallery, photos from the nude gallery don't automatically display in the thumbnail gallery, they would require some sort of confirmation, that would also be nice. delp
I'd go for a "Warning: conservative and/or prude thread" too.
elisa rodriguez
Millions of people get naked at least once a day and do not have sex.
One can have sex with clothes on.
Does it seem logical that all nude photos be classified as graphic or sexually explicit?
Have you ever tried to sculpt a human body? A real one? It takes skill. It's like, an art or something. ;)
