Coho
I am aware this has been discussed before but it seems to me the number of images in the 24 hour and 3 day TRP is decreasing. There are around 130 images in the 24 hour and 800 images in the 3 day yet the average category has over 1500 images after 3 days. Would it be time to include the anonymous ratings collected under individual categories in addition to the rate recent in the default TRP or is there still evidence that mate raters are using the individual categories? Seems that those images rated by looking at individual categories are being penalized.
alexguerra
David I agree with you. I don't think that there would be a problem with mate rating when rating by category since the ratings are still anonymous, but perhaps there could be the risk that photos belonging to the most popular categories such as landscapes or nudes would flood the TRP. Nevertheless, that should be a good solution. In my opinion, the big problem is that there is not enough people rating the RR queue, so maybe it would be a good idea to allow people to request critique for their photos, only after a certain amount of ratings were given by them in RR. glenn traver
I brought this up last week, and feel the best soultion would be to give better directions to the anonymous raters on how to make there anonymous VOTE count.maybe e-mail all members with a guide to rating, but I'm sure some genius would figure out a way to twist it to there advantage, and turn this into just another Jones soda gallery, vote for your favorite lable ,LOL OK so I do have a Lable ....
