paul_bien
Does anyone in the USA know whereI can acquire Tri-X (400 ASA) in 8X10? It looks to be available in Europe. Why not the US?

nikos peri
No such thing AFAIK. 320 ISO TXP only.
david_beal___richmond_hts.
Kodak no longer makes Tri-X 400 sheet film. Unless you snapped some up when the announcement was made a few years ago, you're out of luck. However, you might try FortePan 400, available from J&C Photo. The emulsion is similar to old Tri-X. There are some scattered reports of LF users shooting it at 250 and being satisfied with the results. The emulsion is said to be a bit soft, analagous to Efke; so be careful in loading and processing. Good shooting. /s/ David Beal ** Memories Preserved Photography, LLC
randall ellis
Yep, you can only get the 320 variety in sheets, which is somewhat different than the classic 400 Tri-X. - Randy
