glogower
Ok, my wife and kids want to buy me a Christmas present for me for my favorite hobby. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can ask for, for my 20D. I'm good on lenses and have the 580 flash, so if anyone has any suggestions on an accessory that would be nice to have, I would love the suggestions. Thanks troops! andy_van_eynde
Maybe some filters for lens / flash?
ben conover
You have bellows and rails for macro?
J.W. Wall
Eyepiece magnifier, long shutter release, off-camera flash cord, bag or waist pack to carry it all in, flash meter, rocket bulb blower, Wein slave for extra flash, studio equipment, plamp, etc. etc. Hard to suggest without knowing what you have and what your interests are. b_christopher
A monopod, flash bracket, an extra flash for ratio, shutter release. Your query implies that you have everything that you need for the photography that you do. Perhaps, challenging yourself to newer areas of photography will give you some ideas of stuff that you may need :-)
jake_tauber
How about a flash memory backup device. Here's one and there are others. Epson makes a nice one but it's pricey. http://www.x-tremegeek.com/templates/searchdetail.asp?productID=10002
KenPapai
Suggestions: a shutter remote switch (TS-80N3) or timer remore controller (TC-80N3), a 2GB CF card, and/or a Visible Dust sensor brush. Merry Xmas!
bennyboy
How about a shooting session with a pro? I'd love to do something along those lines.

John Crowe
I like the extra memory or back-up memory suggestion. Perhaps even an external drive for your computer depending on how much drive space you have now. I know that is what I need besides lenses. delwyn_ching
SOme extra CF cards, extra battery, maybe a good camera bag would be nice. Oooops, I sorry, it was my list I was reading to you. :)
witolda_maruszewska
If you shoot a lot in manual mode, a good lightmeter / spotmeter is always handy to have. Or maybe a nice book on photography. There's all sorts of publications to suit all tastes, from collections of photographs to stuff on specific kinds of techniques. I've got several shelves of photography books and I love flicking through them for ideas and tips.
glogower
Thanks for all the idea's! Looks like I nice new camera bag, rechargable batteries and charger for the flash, and books win out.
