al_divenuti
By format and speed: 35 mm: Efke 25: Haven't shot it yet, but have 10 rolls waiting in the wings... APX 100: Fingers-crossed it will live on in 35mm Fortepan 100: Couple rolls left. So far my experiments are a failure. It doesn't like Rodinal...and what *doesn't* like Rodinal? Soot and chalk in the extreme. Probably won't get more when those are gone. Tri-X Pan 400: My workhorse film. Always puts the moose on the table. 120: APX 100: For as long as my stash lasts...RIP TMX 100: Won't ever be my standby in this speed, but it has its moments. And when they are good they are *very* good. Bergger BPF 200/J&C Classic 200: Have about 15 rolls but not likely to continue to use it once those are used up. Poor accutance and just can't nail the tonality. I'll try some Pyrocat-HD before my supply is exhausted. Tri-X Pan 400: There ain't a lighting condition this film can't tame and make magic. Won't ever notice the grain at 8X10 in 120.
jcs56
I'm taking photo lessons and testing any film I can find, no Ilford in Mexico city so only kodak.. Tmax 100 .. I did not use it yet.. lex_jenkins
Still using pretty much the same old stuff. Mostly Tri-X. Heck, it's worked for 30+ years, don't see any need to kick it out now. (I'll switch to HP5+ if necessary.) The occasional roll of XP2 Super when I need multiple copies snapshot sized prints in a hurry. TMX, usually in medium format. (I'll try Neopan 100 if TMX becomes scarce, or just give Delta 100 another try.) I'll use 35m TMY for pushing when I want a different flavor from pushed Tri-X. StuartMoxham
35mm ISO 400 I would love to shoot just TriX but often it is not in stock so I use APX 400 or Tmax 400. 35mm ISO 100 I don't use much 100 speed film in 35mm but usually it would be APX100 because of price and availabilty. If I was feeling flush I may buy FP4. Tmax 100 does look nice sometimes. 120 ISO 400 HP5 was the first film I tried in 120 and I don't need for anything more. I do have a few rolls of FP4 just in case but I would rather use the HP5 and enjoy the extra speed.
chris_waller
Mainly Ilford Delta 100 (135 and 120), but occasionally Fuji Acros 100 (135 and 120). Also, Ilford HP5 and Kodak Tri-X but only very occasionally.

christiaan_phleger___honol
35mm: Neopan SS 100 and 400 Kodachrome 200, Astia UC 400 and 100 120: APX100 (what?! Its gone too?) APX 25 when I feel really nostalgic FPX Thats Panatomic-X to you kids TXP 320 (still haven't tried in Rodinal yet, maybe That will make it look bad) FP4, PanF UC 400 and 100 Agfa 100 and 200 and Portrait 160 (flat flat flat) Astia, Provia. I'm really trying to phase out my Kodak stuff. I just know their going to stop making film, despite all the "committed to black and white" hoey. I got clear out the freezer a bit, so I look forward to shooting some Supra 100 in 35mm, some VPS in 220, Pro 1000 in 220, and still wishing I could shoot that PKR Kodachrome in 120. Sigh. gnashings
Ilford FP4+ seems to get the bulk of the load in both 35mm and 120. APX 100 & 400 in 120... RIP I miss TriX - but refuse to pay Kodak anymore. Too bad - it is perhaps the best 400 speed (or whatever you want it to be) film, perhaps ever. Looking for a substitute - good luck to me... Have some Efke 25 Ihave to try. Other than that, whatever Ilford product fits the bill.
Mike Gammill
35mm- HP5+, Tri-X, Plus-X, APX 100, Pan F+, Eastman 5222 (when I can find some)120- HP5+
jim_appleyard
35mm APX 25. I still have several bulk rolls in the freezer. When that goes, I'll switch to Efke. Soup this in Rodinal. APX 100. Talked to John Auer yesterday and Agfa will continue to make their b/w in 35mm. Good in D-23, HC-110 and PMK. APX 400. It isn't quite Tri-X, but a close 2nd. Price is right. I soup this in anythiing. 120 APX 25. I still have about 10 rolls in the freezer. Could switch to Pan-F as well as Efke when it's gone. Still miss Pan-x tho'. APX 100 Enough in the freezer til next year. FP-4 it a great sub for it. Looking forward to trying Efke 100. Pan-F is only one stop slower. APX 400. I will miss this one the least. I can easily move to HP-5 or TRi-x and not miss a beat. The low price sold me on this one.
randall ellis
Pan f+, FP4+, and HP5+. I've tried other films, but I find that I have the best results from the films I know well so these are what I shoot almost exclusively now. I shoot both 35mm and 120, although much more 120 than 35mm these days. - Randy

flying_tiger
Mostly 120 format FP4+, Pan F+, HP5+, APX100, Scala 200 and APX 400 ocassionally. I'm stocking up APX100, Scala 200, RSXII 50/100, RC papers, Rodinal, etc fearing AGFA will discontinued them in the near future. Rarely shoot 35mm B&W since I got my Hassy although still have about 40 rolls film in freezer.
