jay.
I have found some real old B/W negatives from my grand-grandparents time and would like to get prints made. However, I'm afraid of sending them via mail that they may get lost. What options do I have to get prints made locally somewhere?
andy_laycock1
If your locale does not have a lab that specializes in B/W printing I would suggest contacting your local archive or library. They should have a lab that does their printing for them and they will have lots of experience with older negatives.
david_rucker
Although no shipping is failproof, try shipping via fed x, insure it, and break up the shipping into smaller shipments. Just don't put all your eggs in one basket!
anita_thompson2
I own and operate Pacific Black & White Photolab in Ventura, CA since 1986. I have an old Kodak machine that can handle older format negs. This means if you have such a neg that I can handle, I can make you a reprint size ( 3.5x5) for .65 cents each. If not I can take it into the custom room and make a print for you that way. If you ship via ups or Fed Ex or US post insured I will return them Via FED EX. Check out my web site or call my toll free number 877-3395494. www.pbwphotolab.com. Sincerely, Anita.
