dhiren
I have searched on photo.net but haven't found any satisfactory answers to this. I am approaching private galleries for a show and for that I would like to prepare a portfolio. Right now, I am working on travel photography portfolio. I would be printing everything myself on Epson R2400 & velvet fine art paper. I would like to know what should be the size of the print [i am thinking on 8.5 x 11 paper, print would be 7 x 10.5 ? 1.5 aspect ratio], or should it be full-bleed? Should it be mounted ? Should it be kept loose or bound ? Idea of putting under plastic sleeve doesn't excite me, and then you can't even feel the texture of the fine art paper I would be using. I wouldn't like to exceed more than 15 photographs. What you guys think ? Thanks in advance !!
dfdncithekxlbn8kaglf33
A good start is a book about selling your art called "Taking the Leap" and another about portfolios, "Portfolios that Sell."
john falkenstine
Check the Photo District News online netsite. They have samples. the netsite is huge, getting a subscription to get access to ALL of the netsite AND the magazine is a good deal because it gives many samples of professional/successful photographic activities.
