stevenkarl
I just shot some type 55 and it has not been processing all the way at the top of the neg its just not processing. I have used two different polaroid backs one brand new and clean. I kept the film in my apt and it got quite hot so I put the film in the fridge. I took it out for a couple of days then used it. I have been pulling it correctly I shoot a lot of type 55 and have not run into this problem. Could it have happened from temp. change?? This film is not out of date. StevenKarl. ann_clancy3
check with the tech people at Polaroid they are very helpful. the pod may be drying out.
brian_c._miller
It hasn't been in the freezer, right? Just the fridge? You don't want to freeze this film because the developing solution will burst in the holder.
silent1
If by "top" you mean one of the long edges, storing the film box on edge can do this by causing the chemicals to settle at one end of the pod. If by "top" you mean image top when the 545 holder is in the camera with open end up, you're running out of goop before you get to the end of the image area, and that's likely with film that's old or has been kept too long after opening the foil pouch, causing the pod to lose moisture -- there's no real cure for either one, that I'm aware of, just information on how to avoid a repeat performance... jorn ake
Nice shots. What is your camera set up? You get a nice sense of informality in some of those shots.

scott_walton2
It also could be that your rollers in your holder need a good cleaning. This happens alot and all you need to do is open the compartment, unclip the rollers and swab them down with alcohol. Very easy and very effective and I have been doing this for years. If this doesn't help... the pod, as described above may be dried out.
beepy
Nice shots. <p> You still having problems? I'm thinking hot and cold is not good for Type 55 (or any Polaroid film).
