rick_hensil
Not sure if these guys are legit but I saw this ad for PK-36 mailers for a lot less than B+H sells them for: http://www.diamondcamera.com/products/processing-mailers_kodak-processing_processing-mailers-for-slides.asp
walter_degroot
don't think dwayne's accepts kodak mailersgood chance of getting the film lost if it goes thru a 3rd party. You can use them for ektachome, tho.I read here that walmart will send kodachrome to dwaynes .mark it clearly, it will cost less. User_502260
There are plenty of PK-36 mailers still floating around. The older ones did not have any expiration dates on them. A few months ago I called the Kodak number with a question about whether "expired" mailers were still good. I was told they were. By the time Kodak started to put expiration dates on mailers, the idea that there might not be a Kodak in the future was no longer so far fetched. Robert_Lai
Rick,<p>If you live in the USA, you're better off dropping your Kodachrome through Wal-mart. The cost is $4.88 for 36 exposures. You get them back within a week, although "officially" they are supposed to come back in 14 days. It's still Dwayne's that does the actual processing and mounting. TomHildreth
Note that the top mailer is a PK-20. I don't think these have been available for over 10 years, and no they were not for use with 24-exposure film, that was the PK-24. Looks risky to me. terence_spross1
I started a new post about Kodachrome processing at Sams Club - if anyone cares to comment in that post about quality of their service. I didn't notice it was being metioned in this thread - I try to avoid any mailers due to real problems with the post office for me where I live.
