tommyinca
I tried a 5D on the following 3rd Party EF Mount Lens. Seems to work. May be others could add more to the list. Tamron 28-75/2.8 Tamron 35-105/2.8 Tokina 20-35/2.8 Tokina 400/5.6 AF
alexdi
Every Tamron. Every Tokina, give or take a handful. No Sigmas older than 2003. Or whatever arbitrary date. They're quite content to rechip the more recent models, however. DI
KenPapai
Tommy, you've been shooting that 5D in the Bay Area?

They'll hafta pry my Tokina ATX 400mm f:5.6 SD and ATX 12-24mm f:4 outta my cold dead, hands. :-) Btw, on my 10D I can still autofocus my Tokina 400 with my Canon 1.4x Extender attached. :-) Hopefully, I should be able to do the same on a 5D.
