victor_hooi
heya, This is an incredibly short question (I hope), and my apologies if it's stupidly obvious. Basically, I just had a b/w roll developed by Blanco Negro (B/W pro lab in Sydney) I'm now going to email the other people and see who wants what shots. However, I'm having trouble unnderstaindg the price-list given to me (it almost looks like they put a graphics designer in charge of creating their price list...lol) The price list is here (300Kb JPEG): http://www.valeoftears.wehostfree.net/files/Pricelist%20Blanco%20Negro.jpg Yes, I could wait until Monday to call them, but it's Saturday, and I was hoping to get numbers today, drop the roll Monday and pick up Friday - if I drop it in Tuesday, I may not get them till the following week. Basically, I'm probably going to get the resin 5x7" or 6x8" prints. Those 2-10 and 11-50 columns - I assume they're quantity discounts, right? Based on experience with prices from other labs, would that be for 2-10 prints of the exact same negative? Or can you get the discount for different negatives/print-sizes? (eg if I order 25 prints in total of various shots, do I still get the 11-50 discount)? Does it make sense to give discounts based on the same print, or per customer? (eg does it cost them more or something?). Incidentally, the people at the lab were incredibly helpful/friendly, and very professional - I can't vouch for quality, as I'm a beginner at this sort of thing, but they seemed very good IMHO. (There seems to be a speck/scratch on one of the negatives - not a lens problem, I'm pretty sure, but that's about it.) Would their prices be comparable to other professional b/w labs? (Prices in Australian dollars, of course.) Thanks, Victor
