kiva
Took a couple of tweaks on the other one. Hope you get them all looking better Lisa (Apologies for the large file in last post, I'll get the process down yet.)<div></div>
todd frederick
This has a slight soft focus and a reduction in saturation. Again, all images can be corrected. Don't give up on Lisa!<div></div>

todd frederick
Maybe I should say "mellow" rather than "soft" since I think it looks better with the saturation reduced. Again,I do think that almost all images can be recovered, one way or another.
jc5066
I wish I had a couple that were as nice as these. The ones I recieved had some serious motion blur to it. Those are just out of luck. In the end, hopefully she'll have a couple keepers to remember the day.

derrick_morin___fallon__ne
She sent me a few. One was a really good shot with some red-eye from hell - no prob! Another was just a really dark snapshot that is totally fixable, and a few others were just really bad blurry, noisy, over-the-shoulder shots of bridesmaids... ouch. I was hoping some of you guys had better luck. Sucks for Lisa... it's just wrong!
phil vaughan - yorkshire u
This is a wonderful example of the community of this forum. Contrary to the tone of some threads, this proves that (as in life) most people are mostly good. It's given me a warm feeling inside, I just wish my PS skills were up to tackling something like this. ryan mcgill - trm photo st
I would like to play with some... How could I get a 1st or 2nd generation large file? Could someone email?<div></div>
jfr
I wouldn't use USM at all. Use smart sharpen (lens blur) instead. And bump the contrast to simulate sharpness..<div></div>
ptucci
Well, I can see who Lisa's favorites are ;-). I sure wish I got one that looked like *4084. The photographer had a portfolio and was mid-priced, so she probably wasn't one of the people asking on this forum last month what an aperture was, and is it necessary? Here's what I got, and what I returned:<div></div>

kiva
At times saving a file involves risk taking. Hold your breath and hope they see the "art" within and refuse to see the technical nightmare. As I view the web I'm stunned at the highly paid wedding photogs who get away with really questionable image files. I'm not highly paid but I sure can put out a questionable image file that has the potential for being mistaken for creativity. Holding my breath but willing to risk it ... going 1/2 way on this type of file leaves one still about 1/2 way there, lol, so ... here's an attempt at ...... .....<div></div>
phoneguy
William, My thoughts exactly. The trouble is you get so deep into an artsy manipulation, you get lost in all the tools, and can never decide what looks good. Mike<div></div>
