railhead
Does anyone know how to get a hold of an extra inversion cap for JOBO 1500 tanks? Specifically, I'm looking for the red cap you put on top to keep the chems from spilling out. Web searches are only turning up entire tank lids, so I may not be able to buy *just* the red cap. Any ideas? eBay was a no-go, too -- though I may just buy a cheap tank to get the cap. Thanks!
g._armour_van_horn
What am I offered? I'm pretty sure that among my JOBO tanks is one such lid. When I packed for the last move I put all my JOBO tanks in one box (along with my stainless tanks and reels) and clearly labeled it. I even know where the box is! (I consider that last to be a miracle at this point.) Van
christian_kolinski
Hmmm. Don't know a source for them in the US. But here in good ol' Europe Jobo sells them as a replacement for IIRC less than 2 Eur. I have always one replacement ready... Most times they are the reason for leaking 1500s. Best: Mail Jobo and ask them which store in the US can order them for you. Christian
railhead
Anyone know what the red cap is really called, or maybe a part number?
peter_yee
The part number is 03046. Its actually called the red membrane cap. You can see the parts list at http://www.jobousadarkroom.com/products/1500.htm. In the US, the distributor for Jobo darkroom supplies is Omegasatter. You can should be able to order it from any camera store that deals with Omegasatter.
