mr._smith
Recently, I was told by a store that caters to professional photogs that I could have my c41 film processed in about 15 minutes if I'd care to wait. For those in the know about C41 processing, is this a reasonable time to process film and will this time allow for proper fixing. Should I refix the uncut film at home? freehueco
A Fuji roller-transport machine will take about 12 minutes to process film. Then allow a minute to load and another minute to unload the film and you are set. These machines run at high temperatures to develop and fix the film quicker. cbender
That's about how long it takes me in my Jobo if everything is up to temp. Fix and wash are quite fast. I'm not sure how they dry it in that time, but I'm sure those big machines have some way to do that.
freehueco
The dryer, if I remember right, is set at 50 degree celsius. The dip and dunk machine I use takes about 55 minutes dry-to-dry, perhaps 30 minutes in the dryer.
