todd_taylor
I upgraded the firmware to v 2.0 and now the sensor cleaning option does not seem to be visible anymore according to where the Canon manual shows it should be. Has anyone cleaned their sensor? Any tricks/advice? I have 2 small specks of dirt on each picture which I believe are on the sensor.

lester_wareham
I think the point the previous replies have missed is the V2.0 update loosing the sensor clean option. I have not updated to 2.0 yet so I would like to know if this realy is a problem. Can the OP confirm this - I have not heard of any other complaints of this. minicucci
Todd; You need to set the camera to one of the advanced modes to expand the menu to include sensor cleaning. Just set it to Aperture mode. Firmware 2.0 is not a problem.
