hasselblad pm 5 and glasses

Does anyone know if the pm 5 prism is easy to use while wearing

glasses?

I wear glasses, and it seems to be OK. At least no different than using a 35mm SLR with glasses. You can't get your eye as close as w/o glasses but its OK. The one I have appears to have been modified by someone with glasses also. The rubber eyecup has been cut flat, so you can get the glasses right up to the eyepiece.

I have a very difficult time seeing the edges of the frame with mine. I ended up buying a corrective eyepiece.

The PME 45 is the best prism for eye glass wearers but the older series is o.k., I have a PME 51 and it works for me, as it has been said before, it is a little difficult to see the edges. That depends on your glasses, distance between glasses and eyes, the kind of rubber on the prism etc. Try before you buy or consider PM/PME 45.

I use a PM-5 with glasses - a fairly mild prescription (about +1.5). The virtual distance is large enough that I can see well enough to focus without glasses at all.

I use my PM-5 with sunglasses - works fine for me.
