Posting images to this forum - any tips?

Hello everyone,

 

I just tried to post an image to the 'Food Groups' thread and

couldn't make it appear the same way as the others. I had a look at

the FAQs - http://www.photo.net/frequent-

questions#upload_forum_images - and it suggests that images over 512

pixels wide will show up as attachments.

 

The bit that I don't get is that some of the other images on the

thread are larger than this. Am I missing something really obvious?

If so, I can't seem to find the answer in the FAQs.

 

Can anybody help??

My images are uploaded to Photobucket and I just link to them in the forum.

Still can't do it.... I must be dummer than I thought! How do you actually link to them? Is it in HTML? If so, does anyone know the code?

Marcus - To post one from your photo.net gallery, larger than 511 wide, you would type:

 

<center><img src="url of your image"></center>

 

Then you'd select HTML from the drop down menu before hitting the Submit button at the bottom of the page.

 

It's still suggested that your total file size be less than 100K, and if your photo is too wide or too long, people will have to scroll to see it.
