sabrina_h.
Hello, I too feel victim of the Fuji Neopan 100ss sale due to a discontinuation of the film. The thing is, I?m having a problem finding a development time for Neopan 100ss with Ilford DD-X developer (stock solution). I've been to the digital truth's website and came up short. Can you help me?
sabrina_h.
Just so you know, I've also been to Fuji's website and Ilford's. I couldn't find anything (unless I'm looking in all the wrong places). thanks
bill_pearce1
Just did some with DD-X, 1:4 at 69 degrees for 7'45". I thought the negs were just a bit dense. There were shot in VERY bright midday sun, and print at #1 or #2. No one will accuse this film of being fine grained, but it's not objectionable. For flat light I would continue with that time. Otherwise, I would reduce the development time or change dilution. That time also might make a good one-stop push under hard light. john_shriver
When trying to come up with unpublished times for DD-X, I generally take the D-76 time and knock off 10%.

john_stockdale2
The Fuji pdf for this film has times for several well known developers, but not including DDX. You might be able to guess the time for DDX by comparing the times with those of other films that might be similar. If you have trouble finding the file, email me. bobmichaels
Just using the FP4 or Plus X time will get you close enough to start. You can figure out how to tweak it from there. It worked for me developing 100SS in Rodinal and HC-110.
