g-man1
I was very stressed when I took this. I was very uncertain of the lighting, etc. etc. and am personally pleased with how it turned out (I expected a black image -- in fact, I ended up buying a hexar rf, while waiting for the developing, just to get a built-in meter)(the pic was taken with an M3).I'm also happy with the grain of provia 400 pushed 2 stops. I'm now waiting for developing of a roll of 400 pushed 3 stops. http://www.photo.net/photo/4745686&size=lg<div></div>
jtdnyc
Gary, the picture is fine technically, but this is really a case in which content trumps all. Congratulations!
lee hamiel
Great shot Gary You don't need a meter so simply send the Hexar my way or you will start missing shots Congrats on your new baby

rick_gerbehy1
...bought a hexar while waiting for the photos????......you better start looking at the cost of college. Nice photo and the lighting is balanced just fine. I had an Olympus XA and a roll of Tri-x ready to go 20 years ago.....by the time I arrived into the delivery room...my daughter was born. Don't be disapointed when your child learns to talk and says " No More Pictures"...Enjoy

al_kaplan1
I photographed the birth of my son Jonathan in 1976. I got a bit squeamish when they did the circumcision though.
