Bar Mitzvah - Sign In Board

I need to shoot the sign-in board for my son�s Bar Mitzvah, and I

need some �artistic� suggestions. For my older son, I used the

typical �soccer player� pose and had 24� x 36� photo mounted on

gator board made at a local pro lab, which was fine since the theme

of his Bar Mitzvah was soccer. The theme for my younger son�s Bar

Mitzvah is �the world according to Jared�, which will include

soccer, travel, video games, TV, junk food, computers, and his

ferret. I am open to suggestions.

 

In case you are wondering, I have hired a pro to shoot the Bar

Mitzvah. For equipment I have a Canon 5D and glass from 17mm to

200mm, a flash, but no studio equipment.

I have no idea why my quotation marks turned into question marks, but whatever

how about sitting in his soccer uniform with ball next to him, bag of doritoes and someother junk food on his lap, ferret in the scene, all while playing a video game? Guess it would look kind of cluttered. Or could manipulate a photo of he and his ferret playing a video game together?

A photo of your son, arms folded across his chest in a commanding pose, standing on top of the world (Photoshop involved of course).

Or, sitting on top of the world. If you want to make it funny, get a big beach ball with the world printed on it and have him sit on it for a no-Photoshop image.

Jamie--great minds think alike. Kenneth--another one--Have "The World According to Jared" be a quiz show, either one from the 50s or like "Millionaire", with Jared as quiz show host. You can even use that as a theme. Some of the DJs around here have a trivia/quiz show game they use at bar and bat mitzvahs, complete with contestant stands and buttons and buzzers/lights to hit when answering. Then, the image on the signature board could be the "ad" for the quiz show.
