gurney_tim
Hi, I have tried recently washing as normal my negatives (5x4) at 20?c but after raise the temp to warm water (+/- 30?c) qnd put the wetting agent. After *+- 2min without wipping them and keping them in the holders (I use tank dev) I shake each film, sharp movment like when you try to get a pen to work, then hang them to dry. The results are: The film dries a lot quicker even in my darkroom at +/- 18?c There are no drying marks or lines left from drying The negative are very very clean The added advantage is that you do not manipulate the film when it is wet. Have any of the technical oriented guys in this forum got any views on this methods, potential harm to the film.... Maybe my "experiment" will serve others Cheers Timothy
