Errrr thanks Alan, let say Leica in spirit...(Nikon D200), god help me but I havn't picked up my

Leica's except to fondle for 2 months now though I took my M3 with me today but just didn't

get around to using it...

Kipling, the color filter on your nikon digital stuff seems to have malfunctioned.....hope it's still under warranty.....get it fixed, while nikon is still around.:-)<br><br>

Matt, excellent set, and great handling of that 24L...you're inspiring me to actually put my 35L to use.

actually now that you mention it i am in the process getting a 35L, so i can have a tad more working distance, but big green is out of stock on the USA and backordered on the import. hopefully some will arrive this week...<br><br>the 24L is my second fav lens after the vc 35/1.2.

I've been hearing of 35L going out of stock as soon as a new production set comes in...happened many times...so finally I bought one for myself as x-mas present and tested it only once outdoors, I believe. Shame on me...but I love the 24-105L IS for flexibility. Here are two pics w/ 35L @ f/1.4 from my walk on x-mas eve...I need to learn this lens better.<br><br>
