deli
Hello everyone, I have recently posted a few photos in this forum and now put them as a folder on my portfolio: Folder on Few Fish-Eye Photos .
I am finding using a fish-eye lens in street photography gives interesting results also is letting me do those hip-shots which I could never get right otherwise.
I do not particularly like the photos I posted though. I can't tell what is the right lens to stick the adaptor in front of, for example, this lens was a 24mm and it cut the edges, when I used a variable zoom 17-55mm lens, then each photo had a different "circular mask" which I did not like either. Also the sharpnes at the edges. Should I be focusing the middle, sides? Any tips/comments on this? Any of you been doing fish-eye in the street? stephen hazelton
You might check into getting a Zenitar MF fisheye- got one for my K1000 a couple of years ago and really like it. It was $120 or so. Another option is the Lomo fisheye camera- was going for $25 last time I checked- check on freestyle's site.
deli
The zenitar sounds interesting. I will look into that thanks :) I am not playing with non-digital these days. Still justifying cost of the D70 :)
