stephen t
I can't figure out what purpose is served by the sync cord on the SD-8A. Usingan SB-800, the flash fires on camera with or without using the sync cord. Ican't tell any significant difference in the histograms either way. I would like to use the sync on the SB800 to fire my pocket wizard transmitter. Does anyone know the purpose of the cord on the SD-8A and if I need to use it? I couldn't find anything on the Nikon site and there is nothing in theinstruction sheet that explains its use, I've seen some posts in the archives, but haven't found anything that explains its function. Thanks for the help.
todd peach seattle, washi
I have a theory in this thread: http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=00HeYl Nobody has weighed in to tell me I'm wrong, though it's entirely possible.....
