stephen hazelton
Here in Texas, it still looks a lot like summer, and temperature has been in the 90's lately. Ask us again in a couple of months when Fall actually gets here.
thomas_janik
Hi Vuk: Nice to see you posting in the Pentax forums. Your review of the DS convinced to take a digital plunge. I drove from Saranac Lake, NY to Buffalo yesterday. The day was perfect; amazing color, dry air and intense sunlight. Here's a shot from the car with a DS and the kit lens: http://www.photo.net/photo/5055661 For me, it is driving through the Adirondacks on a perfect fall day. jimstrutz
Fall is past. Get over it. Move on. Oh, sorry. I forgot not everyone lives in Alaska. Actually a storm blew through earlier today, flooded parts of Kenai Peninsula and brought in some very warm air. I measured 65f for a little while today. Very nice pre-winter break but it blew the few remaining leaves into Canada. Sorry, I have no picures of the warm air. :)
vuk_vuksanovic
jim: let's see the air. minimalism is cool. thomas: cheers!

jeff_drew4
Here in Milwaukee the temperature is dropping and snow showers are predicted for tomorrow. West of here and about midstate it's about 10 days from peak color. Partly cloudy days are bringing out the colors nicely. Sorry no digital stuff yet . . . soon tho'. Reports from Northwestern Wisconsin indicate it is past peak and heading towards leaf dumps. Hunters will be happy! The flocks of geese are huge and heading south! I spotted a beautiful flock of egrets on the Mississippi River near LaCrosse last weekend. Boats are being pulled out & for sale signs going up! It must be near winter! skjeggestad
Fall has been present here for some time now and temperatures are dropping towards 5 degrees Celsius in the mornings. The air is clear and fresh and I really should get out more (and shoot some pictures), but then there is work...

This is fall two years ago with an old Voigtl?er Vito B (which unfortunately does not work anymore): Tree figure

This is this fall taken some weeks ago. One of the first fallen leaves (Pentax *ist D): Fallen

Vuk: I really appreciate your picture posts. It is good to get a respite from the equipment discussions. I really like your minimalist/abstract approach and the pear is a great idea.

Greetings from Norway.

foxbatkan
Oh yea, if you could tell me what I can do to improve that picture I'd appreciate it too lol. Haze filter? Polarizer? Grad ND and expose ground better? All of the above? I'm new to aerial shooting!
