mad1
I was processing slides in c-41 that were 1 stop pushed (+45 sec in dev)and I forgot the bleach in the rotary tube for 1 min more... could it be armfull for my print?
Ed_Ingold
Insufficient bleaching leaves metallic silver in the emulsion, making the negative dark and hard to print, and preventing the use of Digital ICE in scanning. You should be able to rewet the film and re-bleach, with little risk to the negative.
robert himmelright
they're asking about bleaching too long, not too short. IIRC the bleach step runs to completion.
nigel d
Both bleach and fix run to completion. You can't over bleach, nor can you over fix. Of course, it probably isn't a good idea to leave your film sitting in bleach for hours.
mike_king3
Right, extending bleach and fix times doesn't hurt anything, the only two time and temperature critical processes in E-6 processing are the First and Color Developers, in C-41 the Developer is again the only time and temp critical step.
