elaine marie
Hi I am trying to convert from a jpger to Raw. I am following all the direction and installed the software that came with my Canon 20D. I still cannot get the raw files to load from my camera. I am trying to load them to the EOS Viewer Utility by following the directions exactly but no luck. Can any one tell me what I am doing wrong. Thank you<P> Elaine Marie
William Kahn
Elaine, you may have to go to the Canon website and download the latest version of EOS Utility.

don_e
I think Elaine means she is converting from shooting jpegs to shooting raw. She appears to be unable to upload the raw files from her camera to her computer. She is using EOS Viewer Utility, following some directions. She wants to know if she's doing anything wrong. I don't have any of that stuff so can't answer. Elaine, could you please be more specific and detailed? That's what anyone who can help you will ask you to do first. Good Luck, Don E
byronlawrence
try a card reader. it is faster and easier. you will take the card out of the camera put it into the reader, and drag/drop your files to a known location,, then you can convert them from there. phule
Use the Canon Zoombrowser software to copy your images from camera to computer. A card reader is an excellent suggestion.

shelley_wells
Canon's software is very slow in converting RAW files. I have a 20D and shoot Raw but the software I utilized is Phase One Pro. You are also then able to adjust your exposure with out losing pixel info. Hope this helps
