darrell_m
I wonder if it would be possible to sell our photos from PN. I saw this facility on a similar photography website and it seemed quite straightforward. The photographer simply listed details of print size, cost and payment methods they accepted (Paypal, paypal and paypal) Then a link after this said something like 'Contact the photographer to arrange buying' with a link to their email address. I'm guessing the site in question did not take a cut but merely acted as an email address provider for a potential transaction. The point is some of my photos are for sale. Furthermore, there are some works I see here which I find outstanding and would seriously consider buying. I think it can be done without turning PN into a massive e-commerce venture. It's just a little extra data and a link (which already exists)Is this something that has been considered for PN?
Landrum Kelly
You can always post and link your own website for that, you know. --Lannie
darrell_m
Thats true Lannie, but hardly the same, especially in regard to buying prints of others.
krsmanovic
Consider this site as commercial for your photos. This is well visited web and it can brings you a lot of potencial buyers. So, make your web and sell your photos there.
davidmccracken
I am not sure we need all of what you suggest Darrell. Someone recently contacted me about ordering a print and I sent it to him.
keith turrill
My website has a separate section called "Stock" with all images tagged by subject for search engine use. Each stock photo has a button linking to an order form. I would prefer to automate one step further but my host wants $40 USD per month for their canned e-commerce package. For the present time, I am satisfied with my own system.
