yakim_peled1
I shoot a lot of portraits and the 85/1.8 gets - by far - the most use. I am VERY happy with it. Small, light, sharp even wide open, fast AF, fast aperture (good for both shallow DoF and natural light), very good flare control, unnoticeable distortion, great bokeh, relatively cheap..... What could anyone ask for more? Happy shooting , Yakim.

ryanjoseph
24-70 F2.8L for me. Why? It covers 24-70, it has excellent optics, and its F2.8.
Brad_
I just use one lens for street shooting, canon's 10-22mm. A wonderful lens for portraits as well.

www.citysnaps.net

test11664875106
With film body I had 24mm TS-E and longed for more normal field of view, so I got 50mm and had it mounted nearly all the time. Now with 20D I've noticed that 24mm TS-E stays almost all the time for walking around. I even prefer such field of view to the one of 50mm on the film camera. So I should have had 35mm on the film camera then. On the other hand, when I go to practice shooting football (soccer) I have only 70-200mm with me.
