david_chilvers
Does the Bronica AE111 prism have actual dioptre adjustment built in? Thanks

john_photo
David, I have an ae111 prism and love it. Its a premium viewfinder. I cant detect any distortion whatsoever with my 75mmPE or 150mmPE mounted. The metering is accurate though primitive by modern slr standards. The adjustable diopter is very handy. I also had the camera with the ae3 fall off my tripod and hit concrete. A small scratch on the outside of the prism and nothing more. The prism flew off the body when it hit the ground and it sounded like the thing bounced a couple of times. I bought mine many years ago brand new on a student package and even though its worth little compared to what I paid for it I think it makes shooting with the etrsi very fast. Ae3 and a maxwell screen are an unbeatable combination.
