jimvanson
Micah...I believe you want a bulk loader like this Watsonto hold the bulk roll of film. lex_jenkins
Micah, are you asking about making up some rollfilm for a Brownie? I notice you asked a question in that forum as well. If you can clarify which camera or film format (35mm, 127, 620, etc.) you're asking about we can offer more specific help.
micah_vennard
actually my friend has a brownie. I was asking for a 35 mm.
david_goldfarb
A bulk loader is what you want then. I have an Alden 74. Some people like the Watson, and then there are others that no one seems to like. You'll need reloadable empty film cartridges with snap caps, some tape (I use 3/4" masking tape), a scissors, a dark place or a changing bag to load film, and you'll be ready to go. ellis_jordan
Or simply you need a light-insulated bathromm and NO loader to load your film
david_goldfarb
True. I've done it that way using two pieces of masking tape on the wall to measure the film in the dark. I was studying abroad for a year having left my bulk loader at home and discovered that I could buy high contrast copy film in 100-foot rolls for microfilming, and I could get used cartridges from a photo lab. I still prefer a bulk loader.
