tomaso nigris
Just to keep PN less serious and more funny. Because it seems that rating system starts to fail the purpose of PN I propose a new additional rating system, every week a tournament among photos. A knockout elimination. Two at the time, without name of photographer without any previous rating, everybody can participate with only one or max two pictures per week, each match everybody can choose one of the two pictures ( only one rating for match, no name, no comment) , elimination by elimination day by day to the final. I know that could happen a match between two different subject or two completely different pictures, but it doesn't matter at the end the best picture will be in the final and this game shall be just for fun. I don ' t want to diminish PN I know that is full of professional photographers but it's just to enliven the site.
afs760bf
Well, I'm not sure about the rest of your proposal, but personally, I think you just struck on something. What if the photos on the TRP page got there by ONLY getting rated through the RFC queue, and when they were presented through the RFC queue, there was no name associated with the photo. Would that accomplish anything, or would it just mean more emails to your friends so they could find your photos anyway? Oh, well, it's world of ideas. Somewhere there's a good one. I'm not investing in boxing gloves - not worth it.
tomaso nigris
My proposal was not to improve rating system,I know: new rule new trick, but only to propose something new, trying to innovate PN. However in Rate Recent you can see on left side the name of phtographer.
