rod_dinkins
Just acquired the P30T and an AF200T flash. I have read the Pentax on-line manuals and still am defuzzled. I gather I cannot use the TTL AUTO setting on the Flash. So if I set the flash to say AUTO GREEN and the camera lens to f11 (ASA 400), do I set the shutter speed to Green A or 100 (flash arrow) ?? Thanks for the advice on the *IST DS - have one on order.
stemked
You are right, the P30T is only has programmed flash and manual flash, no TTL flash. I personally never used a TTL flash with this camera, just programmed flash. You can get manuals for both the camera and flash at www.pentax.com USA site. You should be able to get all your questions answered with those manuals.
plasma181
One more thing you might find useful. The manual states that the p30t has a sync speed of 1/100 sec. It actually goes up to 1/125 sec without a problem.
