Polarizer and 28-105 problems

I just got a 28-105 lens with its canon lens hood. I usually have a POLrizer on when I'm outdoors. In this case a Tiffen unit. THe problem is, it won't fit.

If I attach the polarizer first the lens hood then won't go over it due to the grip provided for rotating the filter.

If I attach the lens hood first there is no finger room to then screw on the polarizer.

Any suggestions? Like a polarizer that fits for instance?

Thanks

I just use a standard Tiffen circular polarizer (58mm) without any

problems. I don't stack filters (take off the UV) and the hood slips

over the filter without any problems. I can, with some difficulty,

turn the polarizer with the hood on, but I usually just take it off.
