syuji_honda
Pics came out nice, especially for a $100 lens. It's still a Leica!
rgeorge911
Syuji, I have one too that I got for $90! It's great. Reed<div></div>

robweatherburn
I recently bought a black 90mm Elmar from 1937, and use it with my LTMs. Beautiful lens. Glad you're happy with yours. Rob Weatherburn
anders_sjogren1
Syuji, the pictures do look good! I am posetively surprised. Does the prints without photoshop editing look as good?
huw_finney
I agree they are a super little lens, very cheap too. My 1960 M mount one has a few scratches on it, still produces fine pictures. I like it so much I have just (yet to arrive) got an LTM version for those Barnack days. Another Leica bargain is the 135 Elmar, same DOF as a 2.8 90 but much cheaper, if small DOF is what you want.<div></div>
syuji_honda
Anders, The original slides from Provia look good. I did the Photoshop color correction just to make web photo look like the original slides on lightbox. Huw, I heard many times that 135mm is too much for a rangefinder camera. Is it difficult to use 135mm?
huw_finney
Not at f4 max aperture and M6 0.72X, frame looks a bit small but it is all on the neg with a little to spare. With my M6 0.72X I can get to within +/- 1/2 and inch at 2m, I found this out during calibration trials.
ronald_moravec1
135 viewing is better with a brightline finder as it is 1:1. Finder has parallax correction on the foot. I always use it unless I have my M3 or I need to work fast as resetting the parallax and moving your eye takes time.
pensacolaphoto
No, a 135mm is fine on a rangefinder camera, in my opinion. I have tried Canon, Nikon, Steinheil and Leitz 135mm lenses.
