brambor
I was getting ready for shooting St.Nicholas party. Loaded with NPZ 800 and Trix 400 I was looking forward to the event. Then I was 'volunteered' to be the devil as the current resident evil could not make it this year. So here is a picture my wife snapped. I'm the one in the black.

Craig_Cooper11664875449
Thanx for the comments Brad, Malcolm
As of most of my shots of recent this is China; specifically Beijing. The building entrance to the left of the photo is actually my apartment.
Directly across the road from where I live there 'was' a large open market selling fruit & veg, clothes, shoes, etc, etc..
In Novemeber this year they shut it down to make way for more high-rise apartments. Nothing unusual but this is some 15 km from the city centre and contained buildings 200+ years old. Unfortunately, this complete disregard for the historical value of almost "anything" is part of the modern evolving China of today.
I'm actually in the process of moving to Bangkok and wasnt planning on any more photography in Beijing at the moment but seeing all evidence of this market vanish in front of me forced me to get the camera out. I couldnt persuade anybody to let me in the gates so all shots where either outside or through the fence...
Ilford HP5 @400, in Xtol; Leica M6 TTL and 35 Summilux...
One for for some perspective. a miserable sub zero © day in Beijing...
