randall ellis Posted October 18, 2006 Share Posted October 18, 2006 In Kentucky there are quite a few good spots. It depends on what you're looking for really. Most all of Kentucky has historical sites to visit, and all of the State Parks are all worthwhile. Personally, I love the Red River Gorge/Natural Bridge area (about 1 hour from Lexington), but there is also Mammoth Cave, Cumberland Falls, Land Between the Lakes, just to mention a few, and so many places on the backroads that you could never see them all. - Randy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
