davis1862
I tried the Acros 100 and Perceptol full strength combo for the first time this week. I was really pleased with the results and may have found my new favorite combination. I'd love to see other examples of this combo or suggestions on how else to use this particular film and developer.

rich815
I shot this whole folder of images on Acros, developed in Microdol-X, 11.5 min at 20 C.
http://contaxg.com/folder.php?id=728

philippe_beaudry
I love your photos Richard, makes me want to try that combination. But was wondering at what dilution you are using Microdol-X. Thanks,
michaelging
I agree your photos are great, Richard.I though the ContaxG site had gone away for some reason.I have 2 G2s, and think they are the best cameras, with the best glass you can buy.Ken I shoot Acros 100 and like it very much, especially the tonal range.I also shoot it in 120 size in my Super Ikonta Folders.Does this mean, since people like this film, that they are going to stop making it? rich815
Thanks for the nice comments guys. Philippe, I think it was 1:1. I ran out of that developer a while ago and have been using Exactol Lux with Neopan 400 and Delta 100/400 lately. Still love Acros and use it from time to time. Great details for landscapes. Have not tried it for portraits but might one day in my Rolleiflex.
avisualemotion
I tested Across when I was looking for 100ASA film. It didn't win it for me, but results where nice anyway. This shot named Long time ago was developed using Paterson Aculux 2 diluted 1:9 at 20C for 12 minutes. When 30sec of first minute i was inverting constantly and for the rest of the time 3 times in first 10 seconds each minute.

---
Richard Vanek
http://piskoftak.com/
scott_eaton
I've had good success with Acros in Microdol as well. Problem is, I have a hard time finding much difference between this film and the finer grained TMX 100.
beau 1664876222
you gotta develop it in Rodinal

davis1862
Beau, What a great shot! What dilution of Rodinal did you use? How long did you develop the film? Was the film rated at 100?
beau 1664876222
I rate at 64, develop in 1:50 for around 10 minutes at 68F. Agitate real lightly once a minute.
reuben_c
Richard, with the mount diablo images, did you use a filter (yellow, orange, red?), or does the film have a spectral sensitivity to allow that kind of cloud definition without any filtration? reuben_c
I looked at your other images, and see that you used a red filter. (I thought that was likely, but had my hopes up a little bit, that the film could do that on its own.)
reuben_c
Very beautiful work, by the way. Hard to peel my eyes away from the images. Just beautiful work you did that day.
