I have decided on Attimi (AH-tee-me) Photography Studio and under that on my literature it will say Distinctive Portraiture by Maria Barnett. Attimi is Italian for brief or fleeting moments. So I can use the quote I like (We do not remember days, we remember moments.) I think using the name in Italian does not make it sound like such a painful cliche. Additionally, attimiphotography.com is available! I think it will appeal to the customers I am trying to reach since many people are willing to pay more for something if it sounds European or exotic. It might be wise to check with the Trademark Division of the USPTO, ( www.uspto.gov ) to see if the proposed business name (either in whole or part) is registered as a trademark by anyone else.
