Jochen_S
Sorry, I haven't tested the old "A"lens I own, because I don't like it very muchbut the very cheap "F" 35 - 80 works quite good.
franka t.l.
Of all those economic Zoom from Pentax that I've tried on *ist-D, the one I would like to keep would be the A 35-70/4.0 or the FA 28-70/4.0AL Did try the 80-320 on the *ist-D, just not so easy to keep it steady. Can't tell the quality as I do not have enough shoot in it to tell. But general impression is its better than the other long zoom from Pentax bar the FA*, must said though, the Tokina 100-300/4.0 show better result from my limited exprerience. Some say the Sigma 100-300/4.0 even better, but since I haven't try one, I will leave this open.
