nomade
Once a year I have to renew my subscription, and once a year I have to fax all my credit card and bank account monthly statements to re-enable my PayPal account. But this year such a mission proved to be impossible, I've beeing trying to solve the problem for almost a month, and I can't: PayPal service is of NO USE, neither the on-line help, nor the e-mail answers. There's no other way for me to send Photo.net the money, not at least for a reasonable cost. So I give up: if P.net wants the money, a more flexible way to send it should be find for us, people outside USA. In my particular case, if this is not possible, my subscription as a subscriber should be finished. In that case I would like to know what are the messures you'd take. If my quota will be reduced, please give me a week to do it by myself, so I can choose wich images I'll keep here. I'm REALLY sorry for this. Regards. wilsontsoi
This really is an unfortunate event. I personally feel that, as prominent as PN is in the States, it has become more and more of a global presence, (IMHO, it's a good thing, varied point-of-view, and larger customer base,) thus more international members on this site, and therefore more international subscriptions. It would be great if the subscription service can be more globally accepted. I'm not sure what that will actually take at the admin's end, but it's certainly worthwhile to pursue that avenue as not to alienate the giantuan international market section. Nestor, meanwhile perhaps some of us US-based member can help you out with the subscription extension. How about a 3-year deal. I'll volunteer to assist. ^_^
