<p>displays the 2005 Winter Specials</p>

<p></p>

<p>TLX at $599 almost the same good deal as seen last summer in

Germany.</p>

<p></p>

<p>DC4211 if you have a liking for gold plated specials this digital

is a hot

seller at camera shows a snip at $1299 :)</p>

<p></p>

<p>5 film multi pack for $35.</p>

<p></p>

<p>CD150 for $99.</p>

<p></p>

<p>I just got delivery of the data back version of this camera. Being

smaller

than the CD155 and smarter looking is good camera to take around when

that 150mm

lens is really needed. I don't have the results from the CD150 but if

anything

like the CD155 they will be excellent.</p>

<p></p>

<p>Minox Leica M3 1.3MP for $99. </p>

<p>Still an interesting camera even when the so called 3.0 and 4.0 MP

(not

listed by MPL?) cameras are around.</p>

<p></p>

<p>Walter Zapps DVD for $29 but there are some DVD owners in N.America

who can't

play this on either their computer or DVD player. It is a region free PAL

encoded video.</p>

<p></p>

<p>BUT DON'T FORGET THE SOURCE</p>

<p>"A digital video camcorder, a digital camera, a MP3 player and

a dictating

device, all combined in a flat slimline body of just 16mm and weighing a

featherweight 87 grams including storage card and battery ? a device

boasting

these key data is absolutely unique, just like the famous MINOX spy

camera was.

This small and powerful MINOX MobiDV is a true multimedia bundle in

shirt pocket

format."</p>

<p></p>

<p>The 61600 Minox Mobi DV is 279EURO {looks a little like the T8 :) }

At least

the style is different to the camcorder looks of DV Aptek devices. It

even has

space to carry a second 1Gb card (only 128Mb supplied). No bluetooth

headset or

built in mobile phone :( maybe next year ...</p>

<p></p>

<p>Special deals include the plastic version of the MD6x16 the MD6x16E

for

49EURO. These has sold for more second user on Ebay and stocks of the

metal

version at below near full price are getting thin.</p>

<p></p>

<p>MX for 69EURO and 59EURO without the flash.</p>

<p></p>

<p>The TLX special deal is 599EUR and appended to the announcement is</p>

<p></p>

<p>" Just recently MINOX ensured the supply of films for the next

decade on the

basis of a long-term delivery agreement with a film manufacturer ?

emphasising

that the camera manufacturers from Wetzlar are still counting on the

famous 8x11

format for the future as well. Soon the handling of the 8x11

development service

will again be possible directly through MINOX in the

Walter-Zapp-Straße in

Wetzlar. "</p>

<p></p>

<p>yes there is more film choice now for Minox 8x11 users of factory

loaded film

than ever before.</p>

Greetings All! I have just visited Minox in Germany two weeks ago. While I got a short tour by the Area Manager, Mr. Abraham, he let me examine the new Minox camcorder multi-device. It is really nice! And it follows what I feel Minox has always been about, easy to carry devices to do just what it is designed to do, record our lives. I did everything but bribe them to let me pay cash straight up for the one in my hands. However, it had not been released to the public. My seeing it was a fluke. Now if they can get to market!

The "Minox" Mobi DV is in reality a Minox re-badged OEM device that is already widely available at a much lower price as the "Pocket DV". The UK "Gadget-Shop" chain has been selling this camera for over a year and the no1 model was remaindered at ?120 each in the January 05 sales. The "Minox" one is identical to the No2 model which sells for ?150, but without an SD card. It is identical even down to the black shiny finish and matt-chrome trim, But if you really want to wait you will have the option of paying twice as much for the same camera with a "Minox" badge. Or you could just print out your own badge and stick it on the front. It will be the same camera. In truth, pompous German brands Minox and Leica do not make any digital cameras themselves yet get away with charging for their badge to appear on various other manufacturers products. Compare the "Leica" digital cameras and the identical Panasonic models and see the difference in price. I say "identical" but in truth the Panasonic version's look much sexier in their all black finish. Of course, they even have the same Leica lense. But the price differential is immense. Especially on the used market, where the "Leica" versions are rated at typically near the price of the new Panasonic versions.<div>00BPfm-22229684.thumb.jpg.5bafe9418505d689c228f859c0c032f4.jpg</div>
