syd
Got the Sekonic L358 myself...it's way more meter than I'll ever need and it's top shelf.
robert_marvin
The Gossen Luna Lux could also be a good choice. IMO it has the main advantage of a digital meter (LEDs, instead of a needle movement) plus the main advantage of an analog meter (an analog dial that shows all combinations of settings). I bought mine used a couple of years ago and like it very much.
roman j. rohleder
Victor, instead of memorizing f-stop/situation combos (besides Sunny11/16) I made a slide ruler that fits in your pocket... Download the file, print it, cut it and put it in your wallet... When shooting with my 6x9 folders I use either that or the Agfa table which is even better. Or my trusted Lunasix 4 or Leningrad 6 or Sverdlovsk. No matter what, they all do what they are asked for - incident metering and a descent scale. http://rohleder.gmxhome.de/manuals/tomsk1d.pdf It?s based on an idea from Rick Oleson.
