ben_wickerham
Need a reliable and consistent lab for C-41 process. Anywhere in NYC, nearer to photo district even better. Thanks
gary e
I've used FlatIron on 17th Street and 6th Avenue with good results for my E-6. They should do fine with C-41 also. They also have 2 options for C-41; machine develop only or dip-n-dunk.
craig_shearman1
Just toss the roll of film down the street and it will bounce into the doorway of someone who processes C-41, most of them quite well. Seriously, I've used Duggal with very results and great service. They're a second generation family owned business that really cares about photography. They do work for some of the biggest professionals but will work with anybody.
ben_wickerham
Theres a big difference between tossing it down the street and Duggal, probably as big one as possible in terms of photo processing...I was curious about personal opinion and am aware of the number of labs available. g._m.2
Best c-41 lab in the city isn't in the city. It is in Brooklyn, right off the Morgan stop on the L. www.mackenziecolor.com It's a one man (Rafeal) dip and dunk show. He listens carefully, runs clean film, great contacts, and about %40 cheaper than anything in the city, and a cool cat to boot. I used to live next door to them, but moved to the LES. I still take my c-41 there after getting crap back from the diapositive and the rest of the "top" guys.
