jurie
Ray, 6 megapixels?? Yes, but it's super-CCD, and they have 2 photodiodes per pixel, so it must be... Hmm... Well, fuji claims that the super-CCD gives double the quality, so it's a 12. And with 2 photodiodes per pixel, you could play used-car salesman and say that doubles the quality as well ;) So if you want to feel better, you could call it a 24 megapixel camera. Note: this is a joke. Seriously. Laugh.
mag_miksch
"super" CCD has serios advantage over "normal" CCD, where 6MP is only 3MP compared eg. to a scanner CCD. http://www.henner.info/2mp.htm

edward_h
No matter how many interpolated megapixels Fuji decides to put in the S3, it's still a 6mp camera. And then there's the thing about the portrait grip. Sure, it has a vertical shutter, but there aren't any vertical control buttons! Does that make any sense? I know that when *I* shoot portraits I use both the control buttons + wheel on my portrait grip! Smart, Fuji. Smart.
david_hansen7
I'm very interested to see how well the film emulation works. Also the expanded dynamic range sounds very nice.
