adrian douglas
I would go for a 0.7x Wide Angle Lens for pipe/park work and the standard lens for general mountain footage. As for riding while shooting, don't do this on a crowded slope. Remember you are responsible for not hitting other people on the mountain. Use the WA and the flip out screen, the screen will be hard to see so using a hood of some sort is a good idea (www.hoodman.com). Ride on the frontside of the rider you are shooting and keep the camera low. Use a circular polarizer and if possible set your camera to 1 stop over exposure. Also use manual focus as the snow will play havoc with the auto focus system. PS. Always keep your eyes open, I snapped the viewfinder off my XL1 when I was taken out by a beginner at Treble Cone in NZ.
