yoni_perlmutter
wonderfully evocative photo. it struck a chord with me and i suspect with others who had a chance to travel through china and meet her people. it reminds me of how much i miss china and how happy i am to be going back in september. i will certainly take a look at the rest of the pics you have put up. thank you for sharing them. bevan_donovan
Beautiful shots Jonathan, I can't wait to see some more. I've been to China twice but haven't yet made it Sichuan province. It looks like not all of China is changing at a phenomenol rate which is a blessing. Cheers Bevan

Craig_Cooper11664875449
Jonathan, Overall I enjoy the entire series. Living in country myself Im aware of many of the typical opportunities that arise in both rural metropolitan China - I only mention this to couch the comment that I consider your lead image of the girl sweeping to be abolutely outstanding. Shooting in B&W myself I have to admit I really like the muted colours in these images. As such I'd be interested in understanding is this the processing or the qualities of your film? Again, great work... Craig / Beijing

kott
Thanks to all who responded!!! Craig: The muted colors are from my scanning proof colors. Randall: What are you going to be doing in Sichuan? What part will you be in? Cheers, Jonathan
