kyle_joyce
Does anyone know why B and H has not sold out of the 2 pack. It is cheaper than the 5 pack and singles per roll. I was just wondering if there was a difference? Thanks
john_kim12
I've noticed the lower price as well. Not just at B&H, but at Adorama as well. I only have experience with the 2-pack of 400UC, so don't have anything to compare to.
the_macman
Two-packs are Kodak's way of promoting a product. They ask stores to hang them in front, near consumer films next to the Kodak HD & others which are also packaged by two so that consumers might consider a pro film. They did that when UC and E100 were launched and they did it for TX anniversary. Yes, they are cheaper/unit than propacks. Bottom line: they are supposed to run out so don't be surprised if they don't last for long. BTW, B&H sells UC (by one) along with a 5$ rebate coupon from Kodak. Does that mean it comes out free? john_kim12
Thanks for the info on the rebate. The rebate is $5 off purchase of 3 rolls or more. The purchase must be made between 6/14/04 and 6/30/04. One rebate per household. So it's not exactly free, considering shipping for us non NY residents, but it's still a good deal. The rebate is only good for their Kodak Professional lines of films, so not all UCs are valid.
